Obituary of LINDA DIANE SCHAFFER
LINDA DIANE SCHAFFER (NEE MYMRYK)
It’s with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful mom, nana, sister, and aunt on September 15, 2025 at the age of 64. She had family by her side in her final moments surrounding her with the same endless love she showed each of us throughout our lives.
Linda was born on March 3, 1961 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to her mother Stella and father Walter. Even at the very beginning of her life she let everyone know she was going to be one of a kind when she won the most beautiful baby contest in the nursery and that beauty carried on with her to her final day.
She was predeceased by her mother Stella, father Walter, brother Glen, as well as her twin baby girls Amanda and Nicole.
She will live in the hearts of her sister Barb (Greg), brothers Brian (Terry), Cliff, sister-in-law Barb Mymryk, numerous nieces and nephews and friends new and old.
Linda was such a loving person, she always made everyone feel welcomed, she was a second mom to so many throughout her life whether you need a shoulder to cry on, advice or even a place to stay she was there with arms wide open. She was also crazy, I’m sure if you knew Linda you have one of those “the funniest thing happened” stories to tell. She wasn’t known as crazy auntie Linda for nothing, that was her though fun, and always up for a good time.
Mostly she was loving. She loved to spoil her grandkids they were her whole life. She loved her children no matter what and she made sure they knew she loved them.
Linda leaves to cherish in her memory her daughter Jennie (Dylan), son Randy, her beloved grandchildren Taleah, Marley, Justin, Teagan, Torrie, Kayssen, as well as her only great grand baby Malikai.
Although you have left this world you will live on in all the lives you have touched. Now it’s time to go be with the ones who left before you, one day we will all meet again but for now this is goodbye.
Celebration of life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on September 26, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
