Obituary of HEATHER ELIZABETH PASHKO

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Heather Pashko, on March 9th, 2026.  She leaves behind her four children, Lance, Kelley (Gray), Quentin and Jolene (Tyler), as well as her cherished grand-dog, Stitch. She is predeceased by her son, Clayton - exactly 12 years before her, on March 9, 2014.  She is also predeceased by her husband Edward, parents Joe and Elizabeth Wolfe, brother Grant and sister Angela.

Heather was born in and spent her early years in Vita, MB before moving to Winnipeg and living in East Kildonan.  She maintained her country roots, spending time with extended family on the farm, and having lost her mother at a young age, learned how to prepare traditional Polish and Ukrainian dishes from Babka and Auntie.  During her time in Vita, she met Ed and they were married in 1971, and after spending time in Alberta they eventually returned to Vita, building their own home where our family spent many happy years together.

Heather and Ed moved to Winnipeg in 2004, following all of their children there so that we could all continue to spend time together.  There were many gatherings, barbeques and celebrations, full of laughter and love.  

Heather will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind, in addition to her sons and daughters, many extended family and friends.

We hope that she is with her beloved son and remaining lost family members.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 1:00p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main Street).
