Obituary of GORDON MALCOLM MORRISON

Gordon Malcolm Morrison
August 26, 1946 – July 23, 2026

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gordon Morrison on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 79.

Gordon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate, Linda.  He leaves to mourn his sister Marion (Michael) and nephews Jake, Sean, Joel and Ben.  Gordon’s friends meant a lot to him and he enjoyed meeting with them.

Gordon had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor about the absurdity of life.  He could always make everyone laugh.  Gordon was a creative artist, his work is in the Manitoba Arts Council Art Bank.  Gord had an extensive collection of music; from jazz to classical and everything in between.  Art, music and film played an important part in Gord’s life.  He was a voracious reader and always had a new novel on hand to read.  People may well remember seeing him walking his white dog ‘Casper’ in the neighborhood.

Gordon will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
