To the family, I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Bernie as a child when he played hockey. His brother Mike is my confirmation godfather. My father Andy would take me to the hockey games when Winnipeg was in town. Bernie and dad would always talk before the games and Bernie would always give his game stick after the game. I always thought Bernie was one of the nicest people I had met, and could he ever play hockey. I am very sorry for your loss. Jim Leskun
