My condolences go to all of Rob's family, and friends, and I know he had many of both. He will be sadly missed, and was a very nice man. I was happy to have met him, and although I have not seen him for a long time, I have never forgotten him. He and shelter, they were a great team together. I am glad that there is peace now for Rob, that he is free of the burden of pain and suffering that only cancer can bring. My hope for those that remain behind is just knowing he is not in pain anymore will somehowe ease your loss. I am deeply sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful man.

To Sherry and others who loved Rob, I loved him like a brother and have the BEST memories! He always could relate to women so it made it easy to ( girl talk). He was funny, caring, intuitive affectionate, and loved deeply. I knew him well and missed him when he moved to Winnipeg. I will always miss him. He was the only one to get away with calling me" Yabottt!" Say hello to Cliff & "Merna" for me Rob.See you on the other side. Note to Sherry, thanks for all the love you gave him. Please contact me when you're able. xoxo

I've known Rob for about 15 years now and over the past 8 years or so, he has become one of my closest friends. I could tell him anything, and I did. He knew everything that was going on in my life. The good and the bad. We went through alot together over the years and he was there for me when I needed someone. We were there for each other when we needed help and it breaks my heart that we will never be able to do our 'dinner and a movie' night or go fishing in his boat again. Hanging out on his deck in the summer, eating an awesome BBQ dinner he cooked, going for sushi... I will truly miss him and I'm so glad he was such a big part of my life. I love you Rob and I will miss you. ~ Your Juicester, forever.

Both Pam and I were shocked to hear of Robbies passing. I've known Rob for more than 40 years and spent many good times with him. Rob had a good sense of humor and it was always fun trying to get a rise out of him. The last time I saw Rob was a few years ago when Rick Chipman took us down the chuck to go out halibut fishing. We got 4 halibut and Rob got seasick as we were 25 miles offshore and it was a little lumpy. A good time was had by all and that is how rob will be remembered, as a fun loving guy.

Although I didn't know Rob long, my favorite memory of him is when he tried to tell me that he was the boss, and when I said I was going to ask Sherry about that, right away he said, "No, don't do that!" We agreed that it would be our secret. Rob will never be gone because he lives on in so many hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Sherry and Rob's families: I regret hearing about your loss but we can take solace in knowing that Rob's suffering and pain is over. I'm happy that Sherry and Rob had a chance to marry. Others are not able to or do not have the chance to do the things they really want before leaving this world. I hope all your memories of him are good ones. Be sure to celebrate his life often.
