FRANCES MABELL ROBINSON Peacefully and with dignity on Thursday, April 23, 2009, Frances Mabell Robinson passed away at the Sharon Home at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, sisters Muriel, Hazel, Grace, and Jean. Frances leaves to mourn her daughter, Diane (Clifford) Sinclair; grandsons Dale (Marla) Sinclair; Robert (Tracy) Sinclair; great-granddaughter Sidney; great grandson Nathan along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was born in Windsor, Nova Scotia on March 25, 1918 where she met and married her husband Robert. In 1952, she moved with her husband and daughter to Winnipeg where Robert began his career with CN Railway. Frances worked as a Health Care Aide at the Health Science Women's Centre for 25 years. She was a former member of the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World for many years. Her work with The Elks took her all over the USA. She was a well-loved mother; grandmother and great grandmother who liked to cook and sew for her family. She was also a member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Koven; the nurses and staff on the second floor of the Weinberg Building at the Sharon Home where she lived for the past four years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Pastor Cherian Poonnoose officiating.
