PATRICIA LYNNE APPLEYARD

nee Basarowich

On October 3, 2017, Patricia passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 55 years.

Patricia leaves to mourn her loving husband Terry; children Steven, Brandy, TJ (Stephanie), Chelsea (Byron); grandchildren Landon, Kiara, Kai, Aubree, Milo and Luke; father Anthony (Tony) Basarowich and partner Elizabeth; siblings Michael, Donalee, Donavin (Jim), Lori and Randal; many nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her mother Rosalie Basarowich.

Patricia was born and raised in Winnipeg, attended Faraday, Shaunessy Park and Sisler High School.

 Patricia worked for the City of Winnipeg, eventually attaining a maintenance coordinator position. She loved her job and took great pride in her achievements. Patricia especially valued her family and thoroughly loved her children and grandchildren. Pat met the love of her life, Terry, whom she wed in 1993. With Terry, Pat pursued her passions of fishing, camping and travelling whenever possible. Pat lived a full life taking great pleasures in the simple events. Pat hosted many family gatherings following the traditions of her mother, Rosalie. Patricia was a very unique lady and will be deeply missed by family and all whose lives she touched.

Thank you to all who have supported us and Patricia through this difficult time.  A special thank you to CancerCare Manitoba, the fine staff of St. Boniface OB/GYNE care ward and the angels of her personal support group.

She will be forever in our hearts.

Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, October 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
