Dear Jo and family
Sorry to hear the sad news. Rob was a great person and friend. We shared many happy time with him in our shuffleboard world. He was alway making us laugh with his quick wit. One of our favourite memories was when Father Rob read to us from his version of the bible on a shuffleboard Sunday morning to begin the games. Our hearts are with you

Found a photo from May 1971 of Rob. I think it's in his brother-in-law's 1964 Chevrolet Impala convertible. We went to the East St Paul community centre from his home on Evelyn Avenue.

My sincere condolences to Rob's family and friends. We were neighbours and close friends in Middlechurch. I met him on our back hill in the winter of 1959. All the kids used the hill into the creek for sliding down it in the winters. We were together for all of our grade school years and occasionally would play hookey at his home and spending the day playing board games. In 1969 the first Boeing 747 was going to land in Winnipeg and again we played hookey that afternoon to take the bus out to the airport to see that aircraft for ourselves. Rob was always an intelligent kid. He convinced me to join curling in Grade 5 and 6 where he was the skip and we did alright. Thank you Rob for making our grade school years memorable.
