Born on October 7, 1953 in Walbrzych, Poland to Jerzy and Danuta Maliszewscy, whom he is predeceased by. Voytek completed his education in Wroclaw, Poland and became a Dental Technician. He founded and operated Alvodent Labratories for over 30 years, a successful dental laboratory that reflected his dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. In 2012, Voytek’s life changed after a significant accident, which challenged his health in ways few could imagine. Despite these struggles, Voytek demonstrated incredible strength and determination, overcoming adversity with a resilience that inspired everyone around him. His ability to endure, along with the unwavering care and support of his children and his wife, Iwona, was a testament to his inner strength. Voytek shared a profound love with Iwona. Together, they created a life full of joy, support, and companionship. Voytek’s greatest pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. He cherished them with all his heart and he made sure they always felt deeply loved. They held a very special place in his heart, bringing him immeasurable joy and purpose. He also found peace and fulfilment in nature, where he embraced his passions for hunting, foraging and fishing. These passions reflected his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for life’s simple yet profound moments. He will be remembered for his strength, resilience, and the legacy he leaves behind in both his family and his life’s work. All who had the privilege of knowing him will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
A celebration of Voytek’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at St. Andrew Bobola Parish (541 Marion Street, Winnipeg MB) at 12:00pm with rosary prayers beginning at 11:30am. A private interment will be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
