ED (TED) CARL PARSONS
Gently and peacefully, on May 2, 2013, Ed (Ted) Carl Parsons passed away at the age of 72.
Ed is survived by his daughters Carrie and Marnie Parsons, grandson, Ian Parsons; his sisters Donna and her husband Joe Verner, Naomi Hawryluk, and Virginia Owczar; his aunty Julie Cushing (Godmother) He also has nieces and nephews who will miss him – Cindy, Jason and Ryan Verner, Cameron and Mindy Hawryluk, and Genny and Mike Owczar.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward Parsons and Jean (Genevieve) Parsons (Nee Fijal).
He had lived and been cared for at Oakview Place after he suffered a stroke in 2001. Before his stroke, Ed kept him self busy after his retirement from Real Estate. His two favourite pastimes were fishing and garage saleing. These were only made more fun for him if his only grandchild, Ian Parsons was along for the fun.
Dad had a great outlook on life. Every day was a new day to start over again. Always learn; always try to make yourself a better person than you were the day before. Never say never – there are no problems, only opportunities! Life is meant for the living, so get busy living it.
In accordance’s with Ed’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held
A Memorial Tree was planted for ED
