Obituary of STEPHANIE CIWKO
STEPHANIE CIWKO
December 25, 1916 – May 9, 2013
Sadly on May 9, 2013 at Seven Oaks Hospital Stephanie Ciwko passed away with her son at her side.
Stef will be forever remembered by her son Barry (Elaine and daughter Claire), grandchildren (Christopher, Tara, Bradley, Laura and Lana), great grandchildren (Caliope and Colbin), nieces, nephews and cousin Jeannie Roberts.
She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Sophie Mazowita, first husband Joe Snowe, daughter Donna, son Kenny, brother Bordon and second husband Joseph Ciwko.
Stef lived a life full of love, laughter and courage despite the accidental loss of her first husband as a young mother and later in life the losses of her daughter (Donna), son (Kenny) and second husband (Joseph). Her home, family and friends gave her the greatest joy and many people will remember her for her kindness, gentle spirit and laughter. She welcomed all to her home and loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. The many special holiday dinners, parties and impromptu get togethers over the years will be fondly remembered. She touched the hearts of many and will be forever missed.
Stef was able to stay in her home up until the last few weeks of her life. Thanks to all of the homecare workers whose thoughtfulness and caring made it possible for her to live her last years there in happiness. Very special thanks to Susan, Eugenia and Merci who treated her like their own mother. You are appreciated beyond words.
