Obituary of VALERIE TRZOPEK
VALERIE TRZOPEK
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Valerie Trzopek.
Valerie was predeceased by her husband Albert but leaves behind daughters Josephine (John) and Ramona (Peter), granddaughters Jacqueline, Jennifer (Robert), Jeanette, Lauren, Carmen and Olivia, and great grandchildren Braeden, and Mateo.
Valerie was a kind and generous woman. She was born in Russia and immigrated to Canada after World War II where she established a life with her husband and raised 2 daughters. She was a sweet woman who liked the simple things in life. She was a wonderful baker, gardener and seamstress. She loved all animals but especially cats.
We would like to thank the staff at Holy Family Home who provided a compassionate and loving home for Valerie. We want to especially express our gratitude to Valerie's companion, Rose, who gave tirelessly her support and love.
The Rosary will be said on Friday, July 26 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
