Obituary of PETER RYBAK
PETER RYBAK
Peter Rybak, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2011 at 12:35 p.m. at Victoria General Hospital.
Peter is survived by daughters Margaret (Alex) Mulvenna, June (Jim) Grey, Kathy Rybak, all of Winnipeg; sons Ron Rybak and Frank (Diane) Rybak; grandchildren Carla, Charles and Lindsay.
Our dad was born in Arborg, Manitoba on June 17, 1913. Dad retired from CNR after 28 years and later worked at Burns for 10 years. He enjoyed travelling with his family to the lake, British Columbia and Sudbury, Ontario.
Dad was a hardworking individual and was an excellent provider for his family. He loved to garden and loved fresh vegetables and mom’s homemade cooking. He was an independent individual who enjoyed his home until he recently entered the hospital.
Special thanks to the staff of Victoria General Hospital for the compassion and care of our father.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 847 St Mary's Road, with viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment in St. Vital Cemetery.
You are loved Dad, and will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers always.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter’s memory to Siloam Mission.
