Obituary of PAUL ALEXANDER LACASSE
PAUL ALEXANDER LACASSE
His strength and determination to fight was evident, but God had other plans and called him home. On August 7, 2013, peacefully with his family by his side, Paul Alexander Lacasse, age 64, succumbed to his battle with cancer.
Paul leaves to mourn his wife, Jane Lacasse, his children, Diane (Darrell), Vanessa (Les), Charmaine (Travis), Benji (Katelyn), Jason (Dora), Paul and Kaine (bug-a-boo).
Paul also leaves to mourn his siblings, Peter (Lynn) Lacasse, Betty (Vyrn) Peterson, Michael Lacasse, Robert Gautier and Christopher Gautier; numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild; plus other family and friends who were very dear to him.
Paul was predeceased by his father Wilfred Lacasse; mother Esme Gautier; sons Norman Ducharme and Trevor Sinclair; mother and father- in-law Grace and Albert Ducharme and special friend Ralph Mackenzie
Pallbearers will be, Alcide Ducharme, AJ Delaronde, Jason Ducharme, Benji Thomas, Les Henry, Michael Lacasse, Bruno Hiller and Travis Gamey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
Special thanks to the caring staff at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palliative Care unit at St. Boniface Hospital.
