Obituary of GREGORY (GREG) MARK PEYKO
Gregory (Greg) Mark Peyko December 1, 1961 – August 15, 2013
Suddenly, after a brief illness, Greg passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital surrounded by his family.
Greg leaves to mourn his parents Sylvester (Syl) and Nellie, son Jerren (Angie), 2 precious grandchildren Kaylee and Kayd, former wife Mich Ezako, several aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends. Greg is predeceased by his Grandparents Mary and Alex Strileski, and Theodre Peyko, as well as one Aunt, Cousins and Uncles.
Greg was born on December 1, 1961 and grew up in the Garden City area. He graduated from Garden City Collegiate and went on to study automotive/mechanics where he learned many skills. Greg excelled working on cars and took great pride in his work. He later was employed at Dominion Bridge where he worked for over 10 years. Greg travelled to Abbotsford, BC where he obtained his Helicopter Pilot’s license. He will stay in the hearts of all who loved him and will be sadly missed.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital ICU Unit for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place, a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday September 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Mr. Tom Didur officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
