WILLIAM STEVE KERELIUK
1946 – 2013
After a courageous battle with cancer, William passed away on September 13, 2013.
William is survived by his wife Cecelia; sons George (Madelene) and John (Nancy); grandchildren Kristen, Stephanie (Josh), Tanya (Dustin), Tina (Greg), Dawn (Gibby) and Samantha, Keegan, Kyle and Connor; great grandchildren Darian, Julius, Celina, Kaitlen, Anakin, Lennie and Braeden; sister Mary (Charlie) Bancarz; brother John (Frances); sisters-in-law Monique (Lisa), Lucille (David); brothers-in-law Marcel, Paul (Rita); nephews Robert, Patrick, Derrick, Michael, Andrew and Sheldon; nieces Melanie (Scott) and Maryann (Jeb).
He was predeceased by his mother Nellie; father Peter; brothers Mel and Peter; sister Mildred and sister-in-law Linda.
Bill was one born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba. He worked as a heavy duty mechanic all his life and loved what he did. At the time of his passing he was employed with Sigfusson Northern at Lundar, MB. He worked for many companies including BACM, Northern Bridge, Wasco Construction, SMS Equipment, Foundation Ebasco, Doug Gordon Contracting, Ledcors, just to name a few. His work took him to Alaska, Yukon Territories, Fort Nelson, BC, Nunivak, Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba and Northwest Territories. He was also a member of Local 115 Operating Engineers. He had a lot of friends, meeting them all in his travels.
Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
