Obituary of SHIRLEY ELAINE KIRKHAM

SHIRLEY ELAINE KIRKHAM December 02, 1946 – September 17, 2013 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Shirley Kirkham at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg. Shirley is survived by her son Michael (Sharon); daughter Michelle (Maurice) and granddaughters Nicole and Brooke. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Palliative Care team and the CancerCare Manitoba personnel on Mom's team that enabled her final days to be ones of comfort and dignity. With respect to Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A reception in her honor will be held on Wednesday, September 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion #81, 300 Trent Avenue Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley’s name to CancerCare Manitoba. Shirley will be forever missed and loved.
