Obituary of ROGER (MARCEL) GLOUX, SR.

Roger (Marcel) Gloux, Sr. October 1, 1932 – September 22, 2013 With his family by his side, Marcel peacefully passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Left to mourn are his wife Elizabeth, daughters Brenda Blandine (Ken), son Marcel Jr. (Dale), and brother Jack. Marcel was a hard-working man and was employed as a social worker with the Children’s Aid Society for a number of years and later was the proud owner of Able Floor Company. Marcel loved bowling, and accomplished his dream of bowling a perfect 450 game in 1990. Cremation has taken place and private interment has been held. Friends may gather for a celebration of his life at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Thursday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
