Obituary of JOSEPH EVERTOSKI
JOSEPH (JOE) EVERTOSKI
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe, who at the age of 79, passed peacefully with his family by his side on October 9, 2013.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by wife Pauline, who he had a loving marriage with for 54 years, as well as his daughter Audrey, son Randy (Clarisse), grandchildren Ashley and Justin, and his faithful companion who could always be found by his side, Oscar.
Joe was born in Brokenhead, MB on the 8th of July in 1934. He worked for Manitoba Hydro for 37 years before retiring in the year of 1991.
Joe was a caring and kind man, who was always willing to provide a helping hand. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed leisure activities such as camping, hunting, playing cards, and watching hockey. He and his wife especially enjoyed travelling; there are many fond memories of trips across the United States and Canada shared between the two.
Joe was especially fond of his grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by both his family and friends.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and support staff at HSC for all their care and kindness. Also, thank you to all our family and friends who have comforted us during this time.
Funeral mass in celebration of Joe will be held on Tuesday, Oct 15th at 10:00 am with viewing an hour prior at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Ave. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
