Obituary of CHARLES (CHARLIE) FLETT

CHARLES (CHARLIE) STANLEY FLETT June 6, 1936 – October 14, 2013 Charles Flett of St. Peter's, MB passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the age of 77 years. Stanley is survived by his daughter Donna (Scott), son Darren (Jeff), grand-daughter Dawn (William), great-grandson William, grandson Dallas, his longtime companion Doris Slater and by numerous family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Rudy-Anne Flett, his siblings Alfred, Peter, William, Jerry and his sister Iva. Stanley cherished his family, just as much as they cherished him. Even though he didn't have lots to give, he gave a lot with what he had and that was his "LOVE". Throughout his years he endured many medical complications, but overcame them until his last battle with diabetes, heart and kidney disease. Stanley will be greatly missed by many family and friends, especially by his two kids and great-grandson and grandchildren. The family would like to give thanks to all the nursing staff and staff at Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home, for all their long-time caring and support during his final stay and departure. The celebration of Stanley`s life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel on 1442 Main St. with viewing to be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 7 - 9:30 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel. ``Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.`` -Psalm 23:4
