Obituary of THERESE GILBERTSON
Therese Cathleen Gilbertson
LIFE IN EVERY BREATH
On October 30, 2013 with courage and a smile on her face our sister Cathleen passed away at the Grace Hospice.
With great sadness Cathleen will be missed by her siblings (twin) brother Coyle Gilbertson, brother, Patrick (Joanne) Gilbertson and sister, Toni (Robert) Kostyra, numerous nieces and nephews and many good friends. A special thanks to Frank Schoen for being such a good friend to Cathleen and for his wonderful visits.
We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to all the staff of the Grace Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care of our sister. A very special thank you to the "Tea Ladies" and their wonderful dainties, this was always a special time for Cathleen and it was important for her to be able to offer her guests some wonderful homemade treats.
Cathleen was born on June 30, 1949 and raised in Winnipeg. For many years she was a self-employed Legal Clerk. She also volunteered at the Psychiatric Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital for 14 years. Cathleen enjoyed flower gardening, yoga, cycling and being an aerobic exercise instructor.
Cathleen was predeceased by her sister, Colleen (Lindsay) Adams, father Thomas Gilbertson and mother Theresa Gilbertson. Cath, we know that you are now with Col, mom and dad so be at peace.
A private family interment has been held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little Warriors (website: littlewarriors.ca) in memory Cathleen.
A Memorial Tree was planted for THERESE
