Obituary of GORDON CAMERON
GORDON MURRAY CAMERON
July 30, 1957 – November 8, 2013
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Gordon Murray Cameron who left us peacefully at Seven Oaks General Hospital on Friday, November 8, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
Gordon is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Heather, sons Chris and Neil (Amber), and much beloved granddaughter, Lucy.
He also leaves to mourn his passing sisters Vicki, Marilyn, Sandra and brother Scott (Adine).
He was predeceased by his parents Hector, and Joyce.
Gordon was born in Winnipeg, MB on July 30, 1957. He grew up in Whiterock B.C., and later the Elmwood area of Winnipeg.
Gordon was always curious to find out how things worked. This led to his passion for cars, especially Corvettes, and eventually Gordon was certified as a Diesel Mechanic in 1979.
He worked for many years at Central Lift & Equipment. He took on a role as service manager and finished his career for Hepburn Enterprises.
He gave up one dream for another, when he sold his Corvette for the down payment to buy a house and start a family with wife Barbara.
We hold fond memories of his sense of humour and love of pranks, and his kindness.
His family was always precious to him and we will miss him dearly.
