Obituary of MONIQUE MINARIK
MONIQUE MINARIK
(Nee Boulet)
July 2, 1964 to August 14, 2011
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Monique Minarik on August 14, 2011 at the age of 47.
Monique is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 16 years, Lorne; her precious children Janelle and Tyler; her parents Fernand and Lucette Boulet; brother Michel (Rhiannon); niece Ashlee and nephew Braeden. She also leaves to mourn Andy and Lesia Minarik, family and friends.
Monique’s priority was always her family and her happiest moments were quality time spent with them. She loved working at Misericordia Hospital for 23 years and always considered her co-workers as part of her extended family.
Monique faced her illness with grace, dignity and courage. She left the gift of strength, hope and inspiration to all people that she met. She was truly a remarkable woman who has given us so many wonderful memories to cherish.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Ian Maxwell and his staff of the Oncology Department at the Victoria Hospital for the excellent care she received for the last ten years.
Monique, you will be greatly missed, forever loved and always in our hearts.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Precieux-Sang Church, 200 Kenny Street on Monday, August 22 at 2:00 p.m.
