Obituary of Kang Ackharath

Kang Ackharath On January 6, 2010 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Kang, beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of 64 years. Besides his wife Khammouane Ackharath he is survived by: son, Kongkham Ackharath of Winnipeg and daughter, Kongsavanh Ackharath of Niagara Falls. Kang was well known in the Laos community in Winnipeg. Kang was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone and enjoyed drinking socially with people he meet. Kang loved music, constantly listening and singing along to what was playing on the Thai and Laos satellite channels. He was an avid fisherman and will be missed in Selkirk and Lockport where he frequented. To friends, please come join our family in remembering Kang Ackharath. We would like to thank everyone who has been helping our family through this period of mourning. Viewing will be Saturday, January 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 10 at 12:00 Noon also at Cropo Funeral Chapel.
