We are writing to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family. We are so very sad to hear about David. Our fondest memory of David is from Tracy and David's wedding when my husband and I had the honour of being their maid of honour and best man. The day was both challenging and entertaining, to say the least, but it is a day we will always remember. In closing, we wish you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Love Evelyn and Ken Levy and family. London Ontario

One of the most memorable night shifts of my career was with just Dave and I working the desk in Winnipeg. It was memorable purely for the fact that we had intense giggles over several hours. I still smile about that 10 years later. The sound of Dave's laugh was high pitched and distinct, which was probably what helped keet it going (at least for me). As a meteorologist, I learned a lot from Dave and feel very fortunate that he took the time to help me as a young meteorologist at the time. Truly a one of a kind, passionate person and the kind of person who will be on my all-time roster of favorite night-shift characters. With deepest sympathy to his family Matt Loney
