Obituary of Rita Beaudry

Rita Beaudry Peacefully, and surrounded by members of her family, Rita Beaudry, at the age of eighty, passed away at Foyer Valade on October 10, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents, Elph�ge Beaudry and Marthe Leclerc, her brothers G�rard and Andr� Beaudry, sister-in-law Nelly Beaudry, brothers-in-law Ralph Minor and Napol�on Comeault. She leaves to mourn sisters Claire Bernardin (Aim�) of Elie, Manitoba; Laura Minor of Sarnia, Ontario; Olive Comeault of St. Boniface, Manitoba; Lucille Nicli (Jim) of Dorchester, Ontario; sister-in-law Cathy Beaudry, and brothers Arthur Beaudry (Sue), Maurice Beaudry (Betty), and George Beaudry (Betty) all of St. Thomas, Ontario. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Rita was born in Lampman, Saskatchewan, on May 15th, 1930 to Elph�ge Beaudry (Ph�g�) and Marthe Leclerc. The family relocated to different provinces during the Great Depression before settling on a tobacco farm in Aylmer, Ontario. Rita was employed at Eaton-Yale Company in St. Thomas, Ontario until her retirement. She then moved to Manitoba to live with two of her sisters, spending her final years at Foyer Valade in Winnipeg. Rita was known for her quiet disposition with a definite keen listening ear, but always enjoyed a good tease. Throughout her life, her love of family and children was deep and heartfelt. In the past months she could no longer name family members who visited but her face immediately lit up when family arrived to visit her. Her rosary, family photos and country music kept her good company at Foyer. We would like to thank the nursing staff of Foyer Valade for their constant care and attention towards our sister and aunt Rita. Prayers will be recited Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 7:30pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd, Winnipeg. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Elie, Manitoba at 10:00. Rita's nephew, Msg. Maurice Comeault, celebrant. Internment will take place in the St. Eustache cemetery immediately following Mass.
