This message is for Jessie and James. Many years have passed since your father went to be with The Lord. I will never forget the day he called me and told me he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. I believe he would want you both to know that and would want the same for you! If I know your dad, and I did, he will be watching over you and cheering you on. You were much loved by your dad!

This message is more for James than Jessie, although I have heard about Jessie too. I am very sorry to hear of the news of your dad's passing as a father can play a vital role at any time in life. If you can't remember who I am, think of ghosts, friendship bracelets and beads. Hopefully that will help. Sincerely, Janet

He was my brother-in-law and became my best friend. Almost everyone I knew here in Quebec was aware of our friendship and hoped they would meet him one day. Distance had no bearing on what we shared together and what we expected to share since he moved back to Quebec. For me and his sons, it's an overwhelming experience loosing him. He was a good man. Up there, he now is part of those who protect us all.

My deepest sympathies to Lorry's family and friends. I only knew Lorry a short time but it was abundantly obvious that he was totally dedicated to his immediate and extended family . His zest for life was equally obvious. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

Gone are the days of seeing Lorry come flying up in some convertible or sporty car, music cranking...rushing off to a golf game!! There are so many memories of Lorry, and many years of having him in my life, it just almost doesnt seem real to have him be gone. But is he really? Maybe in body, but in spirit, he is most certainly still here with us. Jesse and James, I cannot imagine how devastated you both are not having your 'rock' of a father around anymore. But I know that now more than ever, you WILL make him proud, living his legacy. To the rest of the Bendera family, please know that my prayers are with you, to make it through this very trying time. Lorry is at peace now, and we all will always reflect on him, and his life, and the special person whom he was to all of us. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star....I know you are there Lorry!
