Mary Cameron
Peacefully, with family by her side, Mary Cameron (nee Botchett) passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on April 28, 2009 at the age of 93.
Mary was born July 27, 1915 to George and Mary Anne Botchett in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. Following her father's accidental death in 1924, the family moved to Winnipeg where Mary completed her schooling. Mary is survived by her sister, Florence Whellams (Donald) of Winnipeg and sister-in-law, Lorna Cameron of Vancouver, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband and by brothers William, James, Albert Edward, John Thomas and Charlie, and sisters Ada and Elsie Botchett and Annie Sund.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date (to be announced) with interment at St. John's Cathedral Cemetery.
The family extends their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.
