Obituary of Lynn CAMPBELL
LYNN DIANE CAMPBELL (NEE BROWN)
Peacefully with her family at her side, Lynn passed away on March 23, 2009. Born and raised in Winnipeg, she graduated from West Kildonan Collegiate. Lynn married her best friend, Mel, and for 43 years they shared the joy of raising their four sons. Lovingly cherished by Darren (Lisa), Megan and Rachel; Kevin (Andrea), Kyle and Kaylee; Jason (Dawn), Ashley and Katrina; Dean (Maggie), Justin, Zachary and Curtis. Predeceased by her parents Phil and Isabel Brown and granddaughter Gabriella. Survived by brother Douglas.
Mom chose a life of contented devotion to her family. She took great pleasure in her grandchildren. She found sanctuary in the peace of the simple outdoors. She was a lifelong ardent fan of Elvis Presley. Mom will be remembered for her lovely smile, friendly demeanor, and grace. She leaves a legacy of gentle compassion and inner strength. Her faith and courage during the last months of her life was a beacon of strength as she led her family through her passage.
A celebration of her life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lynn's memory to CancerCare Manitoba 375 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
It breaks our heart to lose you But you did not go alone For a part of us went with you The day that God called you home Though your smile is gone forever And your hand we cannot touch We will always have the memories Of the one we loved so much
We love you!
