STEPHEN DAVID CHICHELUK
1940 - 2008
With his family by his side, Stephen passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the age of 67, at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; daughter Sandra (David); sons David and Jeffrey; grandchildren Courtney and Colton. He is also survived by sister Ann (Bill); brothers Adam (Nell), Elmer (Betty), Sterling (Gladys); sister-in-law Olga and their families.
He was predeceased by parents Sam and Mary; sister Eve; brothers Matt and Bill and brother-in-law Ed Kolt.
Stephen was born in Rossburn, MB on September 5, 1940. He retired from the City of Winnipeg in 2004. Stephen enjoyed spending time with his much loved grandchildren Courtney and Colton, going to his home in the country, golfing, fishing and bowling.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the St. Boniface Emergency Dept. and the Palliative Care Ward for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Diane Rasmussen and the Deer Lodge ALS Centre.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com
