Obituary of JEANNINE BRAUN
Jeannine Annette Braun
(nee Gauvin)
February 19, 1945 – January 12, 2012
Jeannine was a strong lady, and after a short but strong battle with Alzheimer’s, left this world to her eternal rest. She is predeceased by her mother and father: Simonne and Roger Gauvin, sister in law Erika, sister in law Marthe, father in law Karl, and father in law Julian.
Jeannine was one of five children raised in the town of Letellier Manitoba. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Karl, mother in law Theresa, two sons Paul (Sheena) and Rick, two grandchildren Maggie and Paul, four siblings: Adrien (Jeannette), Rogeanne (Paul), Jean-Paul(Evelyn), and Cathy (Gilles), and two brothers in law Manfred (Ruth), and Gus (Grace), along with many nieces and nephews.
A warm thank you goes out to the staff at the Pine Falls Medical Centre for the wonderful care and compassion during the final months. She was treated with dignity and respect.
A celebration of Jeannine’s life will take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeannine’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
