Obituary of Ausma DUBROVSKIS
AUSMA DUBROVSKIS
(nee Gulbis)
Peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, our beloved mother and grandmother Ausma Dubrovskis passed away at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Harriston, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur Dubrovskis, parents Milda and Augusts Gulbis and daughter Lori Cossette.
Ausma leaves to mourn, her three sons, Ike (Litza) of Ontario, Ronald of Ontario and John of Winnipeg; grandchildren Gene Jr., Kristin and Victoria, other relatives and many friends.
Ausma had travelled to Helsinki in 1985. She became a strong advocate with the Latvian Freedom Fighters to free Latvia.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ausma's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
