Obituary of Lorne DUCHARME

LORNE GARRY JOSEPH DUCHARME It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Lorne Ducharme, on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 56. Lorne will be sadly missed by his loving wife Darlene; his special children Autumn, Raven, Danielle and John; brothers Lawrey and Alcide (Janice); sisters Irene (Louis) and Jane (Paul). He was predeceased by his parents and his grandparents. Lorne was employed at Cavalier Candies for approximately 25 years. He loved to walk everywhere he went. In his spare time he loved to go to Bingo or play cards with whoever would played with him. Lorne was known by his nieces and nephews as the Candy Man, but their special name they called him was "SCROOGE". The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre, also a special thanks to the management and staff of Cavalier Candies. Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 22 from 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Pastor Leary officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
