My sincerest condolences Marian, Kim, Grant, Karen & Shelley and all the grandchildren. Ted was a remarkable man and tireless worker. Ted's first priority was always the well being of his family, sacrificing his own personal comforts and travel so that his children and grandchildren were well looked after and established in life. I have never met a more self less individual than Ted, always looking out for the greater good. Rest in peace Ted, your life long sacrifices have certainly left a legacy that will never be forgotten!

I'll miss you very much as I enjoyed your visits to our home when you lived in Montreal; as well as our visit to you and Marian a couple of years ago. You were such a pleasure to have as a brother-in-law. You will be greatly missed. Evelyn

I am very sorry to hear of Ted's passing. I worked with Ted for a short period of time in the early 1980's in Montreal. I know that Ted was a tireless worker who gave his heart and soul to CN. He lived in trying circumstances away from his loved ones while he was on his own in Montreal making some very real sacrifices in order to do the best job that he could. He was a man of very high principles with integrity being right at the top. He made a valuable contribution to CN and was very well respected by everyone who worked with him. I hope that Ted enjoyed a prosperous, fulfilled and happy retirement. He worked very hard for it.
