Obituary of Piotr GASIOR

PIOTR (Peter)GASIOR It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our husband, father and grandfather Piotr Gasior on August 16, 2008 at the age of 81. Piotr leaves to mourn his passing his wife Krystyna of 49 years; son Richard (Heather), daughter Lucy (Kaz) and grandchildren which he adored, Ashley, Alana, Chantal and Chase; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Kazimierz Gasior and Anna; twin brother Franciszek and sister Aniela. Piotr was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1950. He retired from Dominion Bridge in 1991. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father officiating.
