It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Wayne on Wednesday, February 11 at the age of 56 years after a lengthy illness at the Health Science Centre.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents Frank and Nellie Gerus and a brother Edward. Remaining to forever cherish the memory of Wayne are sisters Jennie(Ron) Bylyna of Winnipeg MB and Joyce (Adam) Tarnowski of Fraserwood, MB, brothers Morris ((Shirley) Gerus of Calgary AB, George (Micki) Gerus of Gimli, MB, many nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.
Wayne was born in Woodridge, MB, spent most of his life in Winnipeg. He graduated from St. Johns High School, then attended Red River College. He was employed with Manitoba Lotteries then went into the auto upholstery trade and was employed with Harvicks Auto Upholstering until his health failed him. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Science Centre for the care that they gave Wayne for the past four and half months.

Henryk Laciak officiating at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave., West Kildonan. Viewing to take place half hour prior to service. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
