Obituary of PAUL KRAEMER
PAUL JOSEPH KRAEMER
April 1, 1923 - January 22,2012
After almost 89 fun filled, loving and exciting years and with a willing heart, Paul was taken from earth by the angel of mercy to be with his Lord and Saviour in the Kingdom of Heaven. He was the last survivor of his natural family, whom he has missed greatly.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by the cornerstone of his life, his beloved wife of 62 years - Helen (Schwartz) along with his numerous offspring and his many friends throughout the community.Anchored by his wife, Paul worked hard and raised 9 children: Bob (Bev), Janice Paukovic (Tom), Thomas (Marlene), James (Teresa), Gerald (Kathy), David, Paula, Jeffrey (Silvana) and Ryan. Paul is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, his sisters-in-law Kay and Karen and his brothers-in-law Larry Michalski, Joseph and Bill (Rosalie) Schwartz and a host of nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret,in-laws Joseph and Agnes Schwartz, siblings Peter, John (Helen), Bill, Marge (Michalski) and Joe, his granddaughter Melanie, as well as his nephews Peter and Gordon.
Paul was the very essence of what it means to be a son, brother, husband, father, worker and friend. He was never wealthy, but was rich beyond compare. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "The Platinum Jets North End Pride Fund" at The Winnipeg Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 27 and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Both services at St. Joseph’s Church, on the corner of Mountain Ave. and Andrews St.
I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.
