Obituary of Mildred Hamilton
MILDRED HAMILTON 1916 - 2008
On Sunday, June 10, 2008, Mildred peacefully left us in her sleep at the Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home at the age of 91.
She is survived by her sisters Eva of Montreal, Alice and Erma of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mildred was predeceased by her parents Edward and Elizabeth, brothers Ross and Tom and sister Effie.
Mildred was born in Winnipeg, December 19, 1916 and lived at 603 Garwood Avenue for over 85 years. Mildred worked for the T. Eaton Co., retiring as Manager of Display - Polo Park store after 47 years of dedicated and loyal service. Her co-workers called her "Hammie". She was a member of the UCW Circle 6 - 13 at Crescent Fort Rouge for 50 plus years and a member of the Queen Esther Rebecca Lodge #2 since 1942.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, Wardlaw Avenue and Nassau Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 1080 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, or a charity of your choice. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
