Obituary of Wayne HASSAN
WAYNE DOUGLAS HASSAN
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Hassan at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the age of 63.
Left to mourn are his wife Brenda, mother Aileen, children Kenny (Elaine) Hassan, Barry (Brigitte) Hassan, Dwayne Hassan, Chris (Ruth ) Iverson, Nicole (Loring) Wiebe; grandchildren Tommy and Veronica Hassan and Cameron Wiebe; sisters Donna (Len) Bakken and Barb Mason, sisters-in-law Sheila (Colin) Smith and Donna Crook and brother-in-law Mel (Judy) Weeks and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was born in Revelstoke, B.C. and moved to Brandon where he spent his younger years. Wayne worked at Loblaws and then spent over 40 years with Safeway. He enjoyed many years camping and his happiest times were spent with his wife, mother, kids and grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Emergency doctors and nursing staff at the HSC for their compassionate care.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
No flowers please, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
