Obituary of Edward HAYKOWSKI
EDWARD STANLEY HAYKOWSKI
After a courageous battle with cancer, Ed was called home to his Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 29, 2009.
He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Sophia, sister Jessie Luchak and brother-in-law Ernest Pastuch.
Ed is survived by his son Bradley Lubkey, grandson Austin, sister Mary Pastuch, brother John Haykowski and brother-in-law Steve Luchak and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ed worked for CNRail at Symington Yard for 26 years as a Carman Inspector.
Many thanks to the doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 4 at 8:00 p.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Ave. Ash Interment will take place in All Saints Cemetery at a later date.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba.
