Mom was a dedicated and committed mother to her family and her children. She was fair to all and believed that we should treat others the way we want to be treated. Her kindness to others was every day as shown in her smiles, sharing hymns and songs to those needing a" pick-me-up" and was willing to listen and comfort others with her gentle voice and calmness. Mom always made herself available to care for those less fortunate and needing help. She was at her best when helping others.
Mildred was a stay at home mother who also took care of the family business up until retiring seventeen years ago. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and dress-making for her daughters and grand-daughters. 'Milo' as she was lovingly called, was also quite the chef and won local competitions for her special dishes. She was the strength of her family and will be forever missed.
The family wishes to thank the staff of MP2, Interim Care -C2, VGH emergency team, Theresa (Pastoral Care -MP2) Doctors Shaw and Salem for help, care and kindness shown to mom.
Mom would wish to say a special thanks to Jackie, Blake, Phyllis Bruce, Gloria Moraldo and Chyrel Allen for their devotion and friendship.
