Obituary of Wilma Busser)

WILMA KALKE (Nee Busser) Peacefully, on Monday, April 6, 2009, Wilma passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1973. Wilma will be sadly missed by her brother Marinus (Joyce) Busser, sisters Gerrie Veselinovich, Hennie (Henry) Timmer and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Wilma was a wonderful, giving person who was always knitting and crocheting toques and mittens for others, plus donating her time to the food bank. Her love for animals was apparent with her generosity to the Winnipeg Humane Society. She always had time for her cat "Hannah", who was her best friend. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the HSC, Dr. Fiona Crow and staff at Riverview for their wonderful care they gave Wilma and her family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel with Pastor Ken Kuhn officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jim Timmer, Marshal Timmer, Greg Graham, Jim Obirek, Keith Beaton and Greg Campbell. Honorary Pallbearer is Peter Veselinovich. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilma's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Rest in Peace, dear sister
