Obituary of Anne KOMARCHUK
ANNE KOMARCHUK
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Komarchuk, sister-in-law to Anne, aunt to Don (Edna), Bob (Linda), Bill (Sue), Karen and Ellie, and loving great aunt to their children and families, on November fifth, 2008, in her ninety-sixth year.
Anne was born in Winnipeg to Tekla and Stephen Komarchuk on September 20, 1913, and is predeceased by her sister Mary Dymont and brothers Bill and Paul. Following a long career at Canada Packers, she retired in 1978 to summers at Winnipeg Beach and a second career spent doting upon her family.
We would like to thank those who helped her maintain her independence until her final week, especially Don, Edna, Bill and Euleen, and the staff on the fifth floor of Seven Oaks for making her final days as comfortable as possible. She will be remembered fondly as a private lady with a heart of gold. Auntie, we miss you already and will remember you always.
A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., on Monday November 10, 2008, at 11am.
