Obituary of Ronald Kraynick
RONALD (RON) WAYNE JONATHAN KRAYNICK
It is with profound sadness that the family of Ron Kraynick announces his passing on April 21, 2011 at the age of 62.
Ron's memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda, his daughter Kimberly, son-in-law Clay, grandson Riley, special mother-in-law Olive Thorvaldson (Dolly), sister Pat, niece Julie (Dean) and nephew Todd (Nahanni), cousins Tom, Joe and Rodney Kirkup, Mike Wilwand and family, and numerous family and friends. Ron was predeceased by his parents Nell and John, grandparents Joseph and Mary Dull, Grannie Gray, cousin Lil Kirkup, Godchild Lisa Wilwand, father-in-law and best friend, Karl Thorvaldson and as well as many other family members.
Ron was born on September 28, 1948 in Winnipeg. He attended St. John's High School and the University of Winnipeg. Ron worked for 18 years with Dominion Stores, and ran his own businesses with Shell Canada and Canadian Tire Gas Bar. At the time of his passing, Ron was employed with Canada Post.
Ron was always a hard working individual. He was known best for his honesty and integrity. He was a family man through and through. His life revolved around Linda, Kim, Clay, Riley and Dolly. Ron loved playing cards, tinkering with his cars, drag racing, and fishing at Lake Manitoba Narrows. He took great pride in his home and loved to spend time at the cottage at Winnipeg Beach with family and friends. A special thanks to neighbours Joe and Slavica, Sam and Joanne, and Danny and Silvan for always lending a helping hand.
Celebration of Ron's life will take place on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. Service to terminate at the Chapel. Interment to follow at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Gray, Paul Tustin, Joe Vigini, Bob Everett and Tork Hansen.
The family would like to especially thank the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital.
