Obituary of THERESA ZAPOROZAN
THERESA ZAPOROZAN
Theresa passed away on February 10th, 2012, 15 days prior to her 95th birthday. Mom was predeceased by her husband William on August 24th, 1979, sisters Pauline and Frances, brothers Paul, Mitchell and Jerry and son-in-law Stephen Budey.
In mourning, she leaves daughter Elsie, son Lawrence and wife Odette (nee Trudel) 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and sisters-in-law Frances and Marge Wallace.
Mom was born in Sarto, Manitoba on February 25th, 1917, married, moved to Barkfield and finally settled in Rosa. She worked at the St. Malo sewing factory, raised 7 foster children and provided daily meals for construction workers when Highway 59 was being built. She loved sewing, gardening, cooking and baking, always sharing her bounty with others. Family was mom's pride and joy.
Mom was a devoted Catholic, whose unwavering faith helped her overcome many ailments in her lifetime.
Although her home was her castle, she has now left to joyously dwell in the comfort of God's Paradise.
Loved but not forgotten.
