Obituary of PETER ROOSEVELT LEE KIN
PETER ASSING ROOSEVELT LEE KIN May 12, 1943 - April 26, 2008
We are saddened to announce the passing of Peter Lee Kin on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 64 years.
Peter will be lovingly remembered by Judith, his wife of 25 years; stepdaughters Sheila (Marlon) and Jackie (Greg) and step granddaughter Cheyanne; daughter Heather/Carla (Diego); grandson Naeem and Heather's mother Shirley; sisters Leemoy, Glenda (Ainsworth), Claudette (Frankie), Kimlyn (Francis) and brother Rueben and families. Missing him also are numerous friends and mother-in-law Margaret; father-in-law Clayton; brother-in-law Adrian (Gail); nephew Tim; niece/Goddaughter Charlene (Tim) and their children Emily, Anne and Luke.
Peter was predeceased by his baby sister Amoy; mother Nita and father Joseph.
Peter worked at Motor Coach Industries since May 11, 1979 and will miss all his co-workers.
A heartfelt thanks goes to the Fire and Paramedic Service personnel who were brilliant. To the Seven Oaks General Hospital doctors and nurses in emergency and the staff on the 5th floor unites 1, 2 and 3, thank you so much for your compassion, caring and professionalism.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
Peter's wishes were to help others by donating his remains to Health Sciences Hospital University of Manitoba Human Anatomy. His wishes were respected.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
To the man with the beautiful smile and magnificent voice we all love and miss you terribly. God bless you Peter until we meet again.
