Obituary of Eleanor LETOURNEAU
ELEANOR LETOURNEAU
(NEE BRUNEAU)
After a courageous battle with cancer our beloved Eleanor LeTourneau (Bruneau) passed away on Monday, August 17, 2009 at St Boniface Hospital at the young age of 51 years.
She leaves to mourn, her daughter Connie (Domenic) Troilo; son Wilfred (Nadia) LeTourneau; daughter Jeanie (Mike) Kittle; grandchildren Deanna Troilo, Nathan LeTourneau, Cameron Troilo, Ethan LeTourneau, and Stanly LeTourneau (all of Winnipeg). She also leaves brother Rene (Kathy) Bruneau of BC; brother Tony (Debbie) Bruneau of AB; brother Ron (Michelle) Bruneau of Powerview MB; brother Edward (Karen) Bruneau of Managatogon, MB; sister Kim (Darcie) Davies of AB; sister Shirley of Lac du Bonnet, MB; boy friend Jody Markham as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Stan LeTourneau, mother Jean Bruneau, father Antoine Bruneau; grandmother in law Lena Bodner; sister Patricia Fontaine; brother Omer Bruneau, baby sister Irene Bruneau; nephews Pierre Fontaine, Noel Fontaine and Andre Bruneau and nieces Jackie and Suzzane Fontaine.
Eleanor loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was always proud of them and encouraged them to ALWAYS go for their dreams. Her pastime was spent with family and friends or the occasional night at bingo. She was a very special kind-hearted woman who will be greatly missed and always remembered by all who knew her.
For those who wish, public viewing will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Thursday, August 20 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 21 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel with interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave.
We would like to give special thanks to all the staff at St Boniface Hospital and the doctors that helped her and us in our time of need. Your kindness was appreciated.
