Obituary of Ernest Loewen

Ernest Loewen 1935 - 2010 Died peacefully on Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at Bethania Personal Care Home, in Winnipeg, in his 75th year. He is survived by his loving wife, Marj Bridegman, stepsons Wayne (Sandra), Bradley (Elsie) and grandchildren Peter, Phillip and Alan; brothers Gerhard (Ferne) and Ron; sisters Elsie (Harry), Johanna (Guy), Ruth (John) and sister-in-law Selma. Predeceased by his first wife, Lillian, parents Wilhelm and Sara Loewen; brother Bill; sisters Elly, Gerta and brother-in-law Peter. Ernie spent many years working on the family farm in Springstein, before his 32 year employment with Versatile. Many thanks to the staff at Bethania, especially North Wing, for their loving care and attention during his 4 year stay. Funeral services will be held at Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave., Monday, October 18th, 2010 at 2:30PM with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation.
