Obituary of James Luzny
It's with heavy hearts, that the family of James (Zdzislaw) Luzny announce his passing on May 24, 2011. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Christine (Krysia), his children Grace Johnston (Dave), John Luzny (Darcie), and his pride and joys, Cody and Casey Johnston and Sierra Luzny; as well as many family and friends to numerous to mention. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, Pawel and Antonina Luzny, his brothers, Joseph and Henry Luzny, brother-in-law Stanley Liusz, as well as many relatives back in Poland. Jimmy was born in Poland on October 3, 1942. He came to Canada with his Mother in 1959. Meeting the love of his life, he married Krysia on April 20, 1968 and soon after he they started a family. Jimmy was a #1 Dad and a loving and always dotting Dziadziu. He enjoyed having his family and friends around, always ready for a party to start, because dancing, romancing and singing kept him feeling young. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Thank you to the St. Boniface Hospital emergency, E6 and palliative care units. If friends so wish, Mass intentions or donations can be made to the Lung Association in Jimmy's name.
