Obituary of Allan MALAZDREWICH
ALLAN DANIEL MALAZDREWICH
March 13, 1970 - June 30, 2011
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Allan Daniel Malazdrewich.
Allan is survived by his wife Sherri (Dueck), children Anthony, Aryana, Kaitlyn, Matthew and Brady; his Mother, Shirley Shaski; Father Bob Malazdrewich and wife Susan; sister Laura(Ken)Allard; Step Brother Clinton MacDonald, as well as several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and his in-laws Bill and Gail Dueck.
Allan was predeceased by his infant son Jordan in 1997 and we hope they are now happily reunited.
Born in Winnipeg, Allan attended school in St. Boniface, graduating from Windsor Park Collegiate in 1986. As his life progressed, he married Sherri Dueck in 1992 and went on to Father and raise 5 children.
Having an outgoing, friendly and engaging personality, Allan gravitated towards employment in the sales and service sectors, finally finding great satisfaction in becoming a bus driver with Winnipeg Transit. He loved driving bus because of the person to person interaction it afforded him, and the many new friends it brought to his life.
Always an outdoorsman, Allan loved gardening and working the earth, just being on a farm anywhere at any time, and cherished the years he spent with his family at Long Lake. Allan epitomized being a loving father, husband, son and brother, and his wide ever present smile will be missed by all.
To share some time with Allan in an informal way, the family invites you to join us at Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main Street) between 6 and 8 pm on Thursday July 7, 2011. A heartfelt celebration of Allan's life will be held at All Saints Church (175 Colony Street) on Saturday July 9, 2011 at 10:30am with a reception lunch to follow. We will see Allan off to his final resting place directly following lunch at Corpus Christi Parish (5819 Henderson Hwy).
In lieu of flowers and to honour the environment Allan was so very conscious of; please plant a tree in his name, with your family, in a place you feel Allan would appreciate.
"A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do." ~ Bob Dylan
